hogwarts365 Prompt No. 243 - attendance
Summary: Draco and Potter make plans.
Potter grimaced. "I can't wrap my head around Nott and Goyle being a thing," he said. "Especially that Goyle is the bottom in their relationship."
"They're quite adorable together, actually," Draco countered. "You should see how Theo dances attendance on Greg."
If anything, Potter's expression worsened.
"Stop thinking about it," chided Draco.
"I can't!"
"Focus, Potter," snapped Draco. "We need to concentrate on our relationship and our babies. We're going to be a family soon."
"How can you be so calm about this?!" cried Potter.
Draco sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I reckon I've had longer to get used to the idea," he said.
Potter removed his glasses, pinched the bridge of his nose, then put the glasses on again. "What does your mum think about the situation?"
It was Draco's turn to grimace. "She thinks I'm a manslut with the morals of an untamed Kneazle."
"Sorry?"
"My mother thinks I've managed to get two women up the duff," said Draco.
Potter's eyes widened, and then he began to laugh. Draco was annoyed at first, but he had to admit that the situation was absurdly amusing. He started to chuckle. Soon, both of them were sagging over in fits of hilarity.
Potter took his specs off again and swiped at his eyes. "Oh, Godric, I needed that," he said.
Draco got his own mirth under control. "Are you okay with this?" he asked.
Potter shrugged. "I don't have a choice, do I? All we can do now is move forward." He paused to regard Draco, and his expression sobered. "Perhaps we should get married."
"Let's take it one step at a time," said Draco. "I'm not saying no to marriage, but let's get used to the idea of being fathers first, yeah?"
"Yeah, okay," Potter responded. He smiled at Draco. "Would you like to spend the night? The damage has already been done, so we won't need to be careful."
Heat coiled in Draco's stomach...and lower. A good romp in bed...or two or three romps...would help calm his nerves.
"Alright," he said, "but it's my turn to top. And, you're going to accompany me home tomorrow to break the news to mum."
