If April showers bring May flowers, I can only surmise that April snow brings angst and woe. Yes, we've had snow this month, and there's more expected tonight. I call bullshit!
In honor of the way the month is supposed to be, this month's JMDC prompt is April showers. Use the phrase in its entirety, or feel free just to use "April" or "shower(s)". You may write/draw any fandom, pairing, threesome, gen fic, original fic, etc. Combine it with other prompts, if you like.
Please post your entry in your own journal (unlocked!) or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in the comments below. You have until April 30 at 10:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the entries and draw a name from among the participants to receive a drabble from me.
Below is my entry for this month:

dove_drabbles Prompt No. 67 - Let spring bloom
Summary: Rain makes Dee a Gloomy Gus, but Ryo knows how to cheer him up.
Ryo glanced up at the sky before bumping his partner's shoulder. "Looks like it's going to be a rainy day," he commented. They were strolling down a crowded sidewalk, on their way to question a witness in their latest case.
Dee's mouth turned down in a frown as he looked up at the heavy, gray clouds. "Man, I am so tired of rain," he groused. "Let's move to Florida."
Ryo laughed at him. "We need the rain."
"Yeah, yeah, April showers bring May flowers and all that bullshit."
"Rain does let spring bloom," Ryo responded, still smiling at Dee's gloomy mood. He knew how to cheer him up. "If it's still raining when our shift ends, we'll just have to spend all evening in our apartment. Whatever will we do to pass the time?"
Dee brightened immediately. "Rainy days are one thing, but I do love me some rainy nights."
