"I agree, Mrs Malfoy," Harry responded smoothly. "That is why I wish to take my time courting Draco."
She held his eyes as she took another sip of tea. Setting her cup down again, she sat back and regarded Harry.
He fought the urge to fidget.
"Very well, Mr Potter," she said. "As you are a gentleman of upstanding character and reputation, I shall allow you to court my son."
Tension drained from Harry's shoulders. He thanked Mrs Malfoy and offered her another scone.
"Oh my," intruded another voice. "Isn't this cozy?"
