As they made small talk over tea, Harry gradually relaxed. Mrs Malfoy was intelligent and charming, if not exactly warm and welcoming. Harry could live with that; he had Molly to mother him.
"Did you wonder why Draco asked you to meet me for tea?" Mrs Malfoy asked him.
Harry straightened in his chair. "I assumed it was to determine if I was serious about courting him."
"Are you serious about it, Mr Potter?"
Harry chose his words carefully. "I am," he replied. "Draco has always challenged me to be better, and I think he feels the same about me."
