Summary: Harry has a (Slytherin) solution.

Harry stepped into the Headmaster's office and took advantage of Malfoy's absence to look around. There were some changes, but surprisingly, most of the office remained as Harry recalled it from his first visit here, many years ago.

"Professor Potter, how nice of you to join me."

Harry turned around. "You asked me to join you here, Headmaster."

"So I did," Malfoy acknowledged. He took a seat behind his desk and waved to the chair opposite him.

Harry sat down and waited for Malfoy to get to the point.

"Your students are out of control."

"They're lively, curious, and brave, as befits Gryffindor House," Harry countered.

"They are disruptive."

Harry sat forward and braced his forearms on Malfoy's desk. "This is about James and Albus giving Scorpius a hard time for asking Lily to the Yule Ball, isn't it?"

"Your sons are bullying little malefactors, and they have no right to intimidate Scorpius for having the audacity to fancy their sister."

Harry leaned back and hid a smile. It seemed that Potters and Malfoys were ever in a state of attraction and opposition. "I could speak to them," said Harry, "but perhaps it would be best if we confronted the problem together."

Malfoy's eyes narrowed. "What did you have in mind?"

"Why don't you and I take all four of our children to dinner one night this week?" suggested Harry. "If we present a united front, I believe the situation will calm down."

Malfoy nodded slowly. "I suppose that might help," he conceded.

"Excellent," said Harry. He stood up, and Malfoy did, too. "I'll stop by tomorrow evening to arrange the date."

"Fine, Potter, I'll see you then," Malfoy responded. He pointed distractedly at the door, then turned to walk away.

Harry accepted his dismissal with a sly smile. As he strode past the Sorting Hat on the shelf, it stirred and muttered, "Slytherin."

"Thank you," Harry grinned. "It seems you were right all along."
