Summary: Harry envies his children.
Harry wasn't spying on his children; he just happened to be in the library at the same time they were studying with their friends and cousins. Only, it didn't seem as if much studying was in progress.
"Whom did you get?" asked Lily.
Albus groaned. "I got dad again."
Harry stealthily moved some books aside and peered into the next row of stacks. His son and daughter were surrounded by several packs of Chocolate Frog Cards.
"Hey, Scorpius," said Albus. "I'll trade you my dad for your Professor Longbottom."
"Forget it, Potter," Scorpius replied. "Longbottom is more valuable, because his cards are scarce."
"I'll get dad to autograph it," Albus tried.
"As if my dad can't get your dad's autograph," Scorpius scoffed.
A pair of warm arms wrapped around Harry from behind, causing him to start.
"Whatever happened to constant vigilance, love?" Draco whispered in his ear. "Some Defense Against the Dark Arts professor you are."
"Shush," Harry whispered back.
"Are you spying on our children?"
"No?"
"Shame on you, Potter."
Harry turned to Draco and grinned. "I just enjoy seeing them doing normal things," he said. "When we were that age, we were always in danger; we didn't have the luxury of sitting around, eating Chocolate Frogs and trading cards."
"Look, Scorpius," said Lily. "I got your dad."
"I'll trade you one of my mom for Professor Malfoy," Rose said quickly.
"I already have Aunt Hermione," Lily replied. "How about Uncle Percy?"
As the children continued to barter, Draco pulled Harry closer and began kissing his way up Harry's neck.
Harry clenched his teeth to bite back a moan. "Stop," he hissed. "We're in the library."
"Well spotted."
"Anyone could come around the corner and see us."
"Our relationship is no secret," Draco murmured in Harry's ear. He nibbled lightly on the lobe, causing Harry to shiver.
"No, but we need to be discreet," whispered Harry.
"Ahem."
Harry and Draco sprang apart and turned to face the disapproving scowl of Headmistress McGonagall.
"Shall I deduct points from your respective Houses, gentlemen?"
"No, ma'am," Harry and Draco said as one.
McGonagall nodded sternly and walked away.
Harry glared at Draco, who smiled sheepishly and reached into his pocket.
"Chocolate Frog?"
