Summary: Lucius schemes to turn lemons into lemonade.
Lucius slipped silently from the Manor house and made his way carefully through the gardens. The moon was a mere sliver in the night sky and provided very little illumination. Lucius, however, had come prepared. He lit a candle with a snap of his fingers and continued on his way. Peacocks roosting in the trees overhead cooed and rustled their feathers as he passed by. Lucius cringed, hoping none of them raised an alarm. He'd have a difficult time explaining to Narcissa what he was doing in the gardens this late at night.
Lucius located his wife's night-blooming jasmine by following his nose. The flowers gave off a heady scent, and he only needed a few petals for the potion he planned to brew. He snipped a single blossom and hastened back the way he'd come. Once Lucius reached the door that led to a seldom-used parlor, he snuffed the candle and sneaked back inside.
He paused to listen.
There were no other sounds in the Manor, and Lucius heaved a silent sigh of relief. He set the candle aside and made his way quickly to the library. There, Lucius found the book he sought and carried his treasures to the cellar, where he'd first taught Draco the art of brewing Potions. He was no master at the craft, but Lucius did well enough, and his skills would be sufficient for this particular potion.
Since there was no known potion that could turn his son straight, Lucius would do the next best thing. He would secure a partner for Draco who would elevate the Malfoy name back to the upper echelons of society.
Lucius Malfoy would ensnare Harry Potter to be his son's life partner.

Harry laughed in delight, and Draco smiled to hear it. For the first time in years, Draco was feeling good about his future. He'd finally confessed to his parents that he was bent, and they had accepted the news much better than he had anticipated. There would be time enough later to reveal that he was seeing none other than Harry Potter. Draco didn't want to alarm his father any more than he already had...at least, not so soon after the first shock he'd given to Lucius.
Draco leaned over his broom and coaxed it to go faster. He drew abreast of Harry and exchanged happy grins with him. It was Harry's idea to go flying over the Black Lake at night, and Draco was glad he'd agreed to the madcap adventure. This was fun and exhilarating, and best of all, he knew that when they landed, they were going to shag like Kneazles.
They flew for another twenty minutes, until Draco was breathless and aching. Harry flew close and waggled his brows before angling his broom downward. Draco followed after him, touching down lightly on the shore of the lake. Here, they were hidden from the castle in the distance, and Draco doubted any students would be bold enough to venture this far from Hogwarts.
Harry leaned his broom against a tree and withdrew a flannel from his pocket. He tossed it in the air and Transfigured it into a blanket before it landed on the ground.
"Show off," Draco accused mildly.
"I have something else to show you," sassed Harry. He began undressing, and Draco happily followed suit.
When they were nude, they came together on the blanket. They kissed and caressed one another before urgency compelled them to come together in a more basic way. The sounds of their passion and pleasure carried over the lake, mingling with the rhythmic lapping of the small waves on the shore.
When it was over, they lay entwined on the blanket, sharing languorous kisses.
"Draco," Harry murmured, carding his fingers through Draco's hair. "Don't you think it's time to introduce me to your parents?"
Draco responded with a nervous gulp. "They already know who you are."
Harry chuckled and hugged him. "That's not what I meant, love."
"Yeah, I reckon you're right," Draco said, shivering a little as he imagined his father's reaction. "Why don't you join us for dinner tomorrow night?"

Lucius held court at the head of the table, all but preening at his prowess. He'd only dosed Draco's wine at dinner time two evenings in a row, and already his son had succeeded in pulling Potter. Obviously, Lucius was more skilled at Potions than he'd given himself credit for.
Lucius glanced at his wife. Narcissa seemed pleased at this turn of events, but then, she'd only ever wanted for Draco to be happy. Draco himself appeared somewhat spell-shocked, but he'd soon come to appreciate having a powerful, influential wizard for a spouse. As for Potter, he had that same calm, yet determined expression on his face that Lucius had first noted when Potter was but a boy of twelve. As an enemy, Potter had been formidable. Lucius mentally congratulated himself on turning Potter from foe to ally, and eventually, he would become his son-in-law.
While Draco and Potter had their heads together, conversing quietly, Narcissa leaned over and said, "You're taking this rather well, dear."
"Why shouldn't I?" Lucius drawled. "Potter is a fine catch. Draco has done well for himself."
"You appear dreadfully smug," tutted Narcissa. "It's not as if you arranged all this."
Lucius saluted his wife with his glass of wine, and then took a drink to hide his smirk. Some secrets were better left untold.
