Malfoy shot him a suspicious glare. "I don't trust your motives, Potter," he said. "Why are you so intent on lavishing intention on me? We are arch rivals of a sort."
Harry chuckled. "We're no longer children, Malfoy."
"No, but you must admit that our interactions have always been contentious," Malfoy reminded him.
"Perhaps I wish to change that," said Harry. "I fancy you, Malfoy, and I'd like the chance to get to know you better. I want to move beyond our teenage rivalry and engage in more mature pursuits."
