Summary: Luna is still worried about Ron. Follows Poking Out Party.
Luna was having a good time. Although the crowd had thinned out somewhat, there were still many students in the Great Hall. They were dancing, conversing, noshing, and laughing. Luna was currently dancing with Rolf. He was a marvelous dancer, and she was enjoying herself. However, Luna kept craning her head to look over at the sidelines. Each time she did, her brow furrowed with worry.
"Do you think there's a Demiguise over there?" teased Rolf. He twirled Luna around and brought her back into his arms.
"If there is, I haven't spotted it yet," Luna replied absently. She looked back again, the motion causing her radish earrings to sway. "I'm concerned about Ron."
"Weasley?" Rolf asked, peering over the top of Luna's head. "Why?"
Luna's guileless blue eyes returned to focus on her boyfriend. "Hermione caught Ron in a compromising position with Dennis," she said. "She was so angry that she left the Great Hall with Millie to explore her inner lesbian, and now Ron is wracked with guilt and recrimination. He's not having a very good time this evening."
Rolf blinked at her as he sorted out her explanation. Finally, he shrugged and said, "So...Weasley had fun, exploring his own bent proclivities, and now he's jealous and begrudging Granger the same chance?"
"Yes, that's what I said," Luna replied. She cast another anxious glance to where Ron was sulking. "At least Nearly Headless Nick is keeping him company."
"I don't understand what the problem is," said Rolf. "I thought the philosophy behind a Coming Out Party was to encourage students to embrace a part of themselves they've been hiding away."
"Does that mean you want to do some exploring on your own?" asked Luna.
Rolf laughed until he saw her earnest expression. "Wait, you're serious?" When his girlfriend nodded, Rolf hugged her to him and said, "You're all I need to be happy."
Luna beamed up at him. "That's so sweet of you!"
"What of you?" Rolf asked sternly. "Any plans to throw me over tonight and chase after Nargles with another girl?"
"Of course not," Luna replied, looping both arms around his neck. "I did all of my experimenting in Fourth Year."
