Summary: Harry is inspired.
Harry stepped into the great room of Draco's country estate and drew up short. He'd been in the room before, of course. Harry was the one who helped Draco christen it. However, this was the first time Harry had seen the room fully decorated for the holidays.
A massive tree towered next to the windows, garlands were draped over the mantel, and a fragrant wreath was hung above it. A fire burned in the hearth, beckoning Harry closer with its warmth.
"Do you like it?" asked Draco.
Harry nodded, eyes bright with enthusiasm. "Where did you find such a magnificent tree?"
"I ordered it from the North Pole."
Harry's head whipped around in time to see Draco duck to hide a grin. "Tosser," he snorted. He stepped closer to the tree to admire the ornaments that adorned it. Harry was privately amused to see pine needles scattered across the floor. Draco was such a perfectionist that he would have kneazles if Harry mentioned it.
"Did Neville make the wreath?" Harry asked, craning his head back to look at it.
Draco nodded. "He did a wonderful job," he said. "I wanted one made of juniper, spruce and holly, and Longbottom came through beautifully."
Harry took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh scent of pine and juniper that filled the room.
"I have some chestnuts we can roast over the fire," Draco suggested.
"I have a better idea," said Harry. "Let's re-christen this room for Christmas."
