As Harry looked around the assemblage, he saw the members of the Wizengamut had varying expressions on their faces. Some of them seemed to be hanging onto every vicious word spewed by Malfoy's solicitor, while others appeared alarmed. A few of them glanced Harry's way with pity and compassion in their eyes.
Harry didn't want anyone's pity; all he wanted was to raise his child out of the public's view and to be the best parent he could to his son. However, if pity and compassion would help to sway some votes in his favor, Harry wasn't about to argue.
