Mrs Brookhollow leaned over to speak softly to Harry. "Please calm yourself. We'll have the opportunity to present our own case next."
"I want you to vilify Malfoy," Harry growled. "Fair's fair, after all."
"We needn't stoop to their level," Mrs Brookhollow countered. "Our case will be based on your good qualities and your sterling character."
Harry clenched his teeth but held his tongue. It was difficult to sit by and listen to Mr Higgins drag his upbringing into this. It wasn't Harry's fault he'd been mistreated as a child, and it didn't mean he would mistreat his own child.
