Written for: Holiday gift for kitschful. This is from my Stray Pucks verse.
Summary: It only looks like something you'd wear to a game...
Draco carefully opened his gift from Harry, enjoying the suspense. Knowing Harry, however, the gift was likely something to do with hockey. Having a boyfriend who both owned and played for an English league team made it easy to buy gifts and guess at his own. Draco had given Harry a toque with the NHL shield on it, along with a book about a legendary player by the name of Howell...or Howe, Draco couldn't recall. Harry was pleased by it, in any case.
Draco finished unwrapping the box on his lap, and he lifted the lid. Inside was a red garment with an embroidered crest. "It's a native American," Draco said hesitantly.
Harry pulled the item from the box and shook it out. "It's a Blackhawks' jersey," he said, holding it up. "They have one of the most famous sports logos in the world." Harry handed the jersey back to Draco and added, "Turn it around."
Draco took the jersey and looked at the back. His name was stitched across the shoulders, and Draco gasped.
"I had it personalized," said Harry. "I hope you enjoy wearing it."
"It's wonderful, Harry," Draco said, "but I have to wear Warriors' gear at at the stadium. Owner's orders." The last bit was said with a cheeky grin.
"The owner is a stodgy old bloke," Harry laughed. "Besides, I don't expect you to wear this to the stadium. I want you to wear it to bed."
