Summary: Harry takes care of the girls, while Draco enjoys his surprise.
Harry was sitting on the sofa in the family room, holding Airilyn on his lap. Annalise was playing peek-a-boo with her little sister by popping out from behind a chair. Both girls were giggling, and Harry couldn't help but grin at their antics.
The Yule log had been placed in the hearth, ready to be lit when the time was right. Christmas stockings were hung from the mantel. Airilyn had one with her name on it, rather than the "Baby" stocking Annalise had hung for her the year she was born. Both girls' stockings had teddy bears in them, and Annalise had been told not to touch hers until Christmas Eve.
Pixie jumped up beside Harry, tickling him with her whiskers as she sniffed at him. Airilyn reached for the cat, but Pixie sidled away. She knew that small fingers were prone to tug her tail.
Draco was upstairs, reveling in his surprise. Harry had been pleased to see his husband wearing a sparkly sticker all evening, which had indicated Draco's willingness to go along with whatever Harry chose to surprise him with. Harry hoped his husband enjoyed what he'd planned for him.

Draco sighed and scooted lower in the bubble-filled bathtub until water lapped at his lower lip. He was in heaven. Harry's surprise had been more surprising than Draco had anticipated. His husband had run a hot bath, added bubbles, and placed lit candles all over the bathroom. Harry had then told Draco to relax while he took care of putting the girls to bed. Harry had also whispered wicked promises in Draco's ear, telling him what else he had planned once the girls were asleep. Even better, Harry had vowed to allow Draco to sleep late in the morning.
A lovely bath and some torrid sex, followed by sleeping in? Draco couldn't have asked for a better surprise.
