Summary: Harry tries to convince Draco that playing in the snow is fun.
Harry stepped outside of Hogwarts castle and drew in a deep breath of cold, refreshing air. The ground was covered with fresh snow, and the trees sparkled with a coating of frost. It was beautiful, and the perfect day reminded Harry of the winter scene inside the dragon snowglobe that Draco had given him as a Christmas gift.
"What a miserable day."
Harry turned his head in time to see his boyfriend shiver and hunch further into his heavy outer cloak.
"Rubbish," said Harry. "It's a beautiful day, Draco. Just look at all the fun everyone else is having."
Indeed, it appeared that the other students were taking advantage of the weekend to play in the new snow. Three of the Fourth Year Gryffindors were building a snowman, while a couple of young Hufflepuffs had flopped on the ground to make snow angels. A snowball fight had sprung up nearby, involving good-natured taunts and raucous cheers.
Draco's gaze strayed to the combatants. "Are you sure this is safe?" he asked.
As Harry was about to chide his boyfriend for worrying over nothing, a snowball splatted against the side of his head, knocking his glasses off.
Draco burst into laughter. "You're right, Harry," he said. "This is fun!"
