Albus stood at the precipice of a cliff, gazing out at the sea. Behind him stood his family. His parents were admonishing him to study harder and to do his chores. Lily was taunting him about his hair, while James sneered at him and cracked his knuckles.
Albus looked down. Below him stood his boyfriend Scorpius, who was smiling up at him. Scorpius held his arms up and called out, "Jump, Albus! I'll catch you!"
Albus glanced back at his quarrelsome family and grimaced. He turned to look down at his boyfriend again. Albus took a deep breath and jumped.
