As Hugo turned to slink away, Scorpius raised an eyebrow at his boyfriend. "Terribly ill and almost died?" he scoffed.
Albus grinned at him. "Hugo believed it, and it got rid of him," he chuckled.
Scorpius couldn't be offended by Al's blatant lie, not when it was so much fun to see Al's eyes dance with humor. He did feel compelled to question one portion of his boyfriend's tale. "You think my mum dotes on me?" he asked.
Albus shrugged. "She does send you a lot of sweets."
"I'll be sure to share with you from now on," teased Scorpius.
