On the road to Hogsmeade later that morning, Scorpius took Al's hand and smiled when his boyfriend linked their fingers together. "What did your parents say in their letter?" he asked.
Albus mumbled something.
"What did you say?" asked Scorpius.
Al sighed. "I said, I didn't read it yet," he admitted.
"Why not?"
"I'm not certain I'm ready," said Albus.
"If they're upset, we'll deal with it," Scorpius told him. "I doubt they would disown you or anything as drastic as that."
"You're probably right," said Albus. "I'll read my letter when we get back. For now, let's enjoy ourselves."
