Summary: Harry gets set up on a blind date.
"Harry, there is someone out there for you. You simply need to open your eyes to the love around you, and you'll find the right person."
"And that's why you've set me up on a blind date?!" cried Harry, pacing in the small living room of Ginny's flat.
She grinned up at him. "Why not? I know your tastes better than anyone else. Besides," she said, "he's someone I work with, and I believe you'll find him very attractive. You do like blonds, yeah?"
"Erm, yes-"
"Brilliant," said Ginny. "I told him you'd meet him at the pub at eight o'clock sharp."

Harry walked into the pub at ten minutes past eight, secretly hoping his blind date would have given up and left by now. All Ginny had told Harry was that the bloke was blond, and that he would be sitting at the table with the centerpiece of white roses. Harry looked around, feeling his heart sink and then speed up at the sight of a blond bloke seated at just such a table with his back to him. Squaring his shoulders, Harry strode up to the table, extending his hand and introducing himself.
"Hello, I'm Harry, and-bloody hell! Malfoy?!"
"Close your mouth and have a seat, Potter."
Harry sat, but his mouth remained agape. "You were expecting me?"
Malfoy nodded. "Ginny told me you were completely incompetent at socializing and asked if I wouldn't mind having dinner with you," he said.
"Why did you agree to it?"
"She said you'd buy," smirked Malfoy.
Harry surprised himself by laughing. "Very well, Malfoy, I'll buy." Wanting to get in a dig of his own, he added, "I will, however, expect a snog in return."
Rather than appear offended, Malfoy leaned closer and said, "If you impress me enough, we may not end the evening with a mere snog."
