Summary: Harry spends some quality time with an opponent. *snickers*

Harry's eyes followed the puck as Coventry's defenseman made a headman pass up ice. Their center angled his body to collect the puck. His head was down, and Harry took the opportunity to step up and put a shoulder into the rookie's solar plexus and send him flying. The Wiltshire Warriors' home crowd erupted into cheers while Coventry's bench screamed threats and curses at Harry.

It had felt good to put Coventry's second-leading scorer on the seat of his pants, but Harry knew he'd have to contend with the other team's enforcer. No doubt MacNeal would call Harry out in another shift or two. As Harry was heading for his bench and contemplating how many of MacNeal's punches he could withstand, he got blindsided by the same kid he'd taken out with a clean hit.

Harry twisted as he fell, landing on his back while Auget fell on top of him and tried to hit Harry from close range. Unable to shake his gloves off, Harry had to settle for wrapping his arms around Auget in an effort to contain him. They grappled on the ice until the linesmen waded in and hauled Auget off the pile.

Harry clambered upright, but before he could locate his stick, he was being escorted to the penalty box. He threw his gloves down in disgust and flopped onto the bench seat. Harry's center skated up and handed him his stick. "Good job, Potts," he congratulated before heading back to Wiltshire's bench. Privately, Harry disagreed. He should have anticipated Auget would want to get his own back. Instead, Harry had been preoccupied with the prospect of going toe-to-toe with MacNeal. He had hoped to make a good showing for the fans, and one fan in particular.

Draco Malfoy was in the stands tonight.

Harry wondered what Draco would think of him brawling on the ice like a schoolboy. He wouldn't have to wait long to find out. Harry and Draco were going out for dinner after the game.

delorispea asked for a sequel to "Stray Pucks" for her birthday, and it will come along as soon as possible. This is a stop-gap between my fest fic and the next part.
