Summary: Harry doesn't appreciate being ignored.
Draco had never been fond of Muggle technology, but Pansy had taken to it like the Giant Squid to water. For that reason, Draco was now standing in his kitchen while speaking to his friend on a cell phone.
"Harry and I are having dinner at Mum and Father's London flat tomorrow evening," Draco was saying. "No, Harry doesn't mind. I suspect he enjoys tormenting my father by grinning at him...Mum adores him...Are you and Blaise spending the hols in Cozumel again?...That's fantastic. I...Harry, stop that." Draco's vampire boyfriend, having arisen with the setting of the sun, was looming behind Draco and nuzzling his neck. "You were saying, Pansy?"
Harry was not so easily put off. He began to kiss the back of Draco's neck, knowing how sensitive his boyfriend's nape was.
"Harry, do you mind? I'm on the phone! Sorry Pansy. Go on."
Harry's lower lip shot out, framed by his fangs. He tried a different tact, placing his hands on Draco's shoulders and rubbing them soothingly. Harry was encouraged when Draco leaned back into his embrace. He lowered his head to nibble on Draco's ear. "I'm hungry," Harry purred.
Draco shrugged away from him. "I'll feed you later," he said, resuming his conversation with Pansy.
Harry blinked in hurt surprise. "Draaaa-co," he whined.
"Hold on, Pansy," Draco said into the phone. Turning his attention to his boyfriend, he hissed, "I will let you cuddle me and drink my blood and shag me in a little while, Harry. Right now, however, I am speaking to my friend." Draco brought the phone to his ear again and opened his mouth to speak.
"How dare you ignore me, Draco?!" Harry sputtered in outrage. "VAMPIRES NEED LOVE, TOO!"
As Draco was wheeling to scold his high-maintenance boyfriend, Pansy giggled in his ear.
"Take care of your vampire, darling. He needs love, too."
Draco sighed and said his goodbyes to Pansy. Flipping the phone shut, he set it aside and crossed his arms over his chest with a scowl. "Congratulations. You have my undivided attention. Are you happy now?"
"Yes," beamed Harry, pleased to have gotten his way. He lunged at Draco and scooped his flailing boyfriend over his shoulder.
"Harry!" Draco squeaked as the blood rushed to his head. "Put me down!" He got his wish when Harry tossed him on the bed.
Harry pounced on Draco and smirked at the sight of his boyfriend's flushed and furious face. He swooped down and planted a snog on Draco's lips. "I love you," Harry declared with a sappy, fanged grin.
Draco's expression softened immediately. "I love you, too, you blood-sucking git."
