I've been hearing about people finding animals here and there in the castle. Since flobberworms aren't intelligent enough to find their way into Hogwarts, no doubt someone thought they were doing a real cute prank. It's just stupid. I don't think most of the students are even considering if it's a prank or not.
And doxies in Slytherin... more pranks? How did they get here? Well, I stunned a few of them and practised my levitation skills on them. Not my fault if they accidentally floated up to the sixth year boys dorm. I couldn't use the Doxycide on them, not after I 'accidentally' emptied the can into a puddle near the fireplace. Oh well, these things happen when people are under stress. Since it was very late after my patrol, I was just tired...
