Hello Children
Hello!
I haven't updated this in 6 months, oops! I've still been checking up on what all of you have been writing, and thank you for the hours of distraction you have given me. On to the fun stuff!
I had a good time this summer hanging out with mike, jessie, and tracy; and nate when he was in town. Also I worked as a traffic control flagger again this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got a sweet assignment to work with a Verizon crew in Kirkland everyday. Out of my typical 7 hour day I did actual work for just 3 or 4 of those hours, and some days I just read the newspaper, book, or napped in my car the whole time. I wouldn't mind doing that again.
On Monday I will be starting my second full week here at the UW, and my third week in my new living arrangement. This year I'm in a house with 4 other guys, 3 of whom I know from the Ultimate team. To my surprise the added responsibility of cooking, cleaning, bills and such has been a refreshing change for me. I'm not sure why.. Maybe my thoughts on this will change in a couple months! (And Sarah, my full address is 4751 21st Ave NE)
School has been fine so far. I am continuing my geography major by taking all geog classes. It's relieving to be able to concentrate on one area of study. This quarter I'm taking "Memorizing the 50 State Capitals", "The Seven Colors of the World: Making an Atlas", and "Why does Greenland look so big?". Joking.. I'm learning about cartography, and world development inequalities and sustainability. Fun stuff.
Anyway, I'll probably update this again in 6 months. In the meantime, try this puzzle which no one has solved: http://www.frvade.com/
