I woke up this morning to feed the cats, and I was generally pretty mad about being awake.
Everyone in the house was in my way, and god damnit, I'm important and trying to go back to bed. So when I got to bed, I was all thinking about how mad I was to be trying to go to sleep. Then I was all "oh man, you're going to sit here and stew for an hour and not get any more sleep. Think about good things!"
So I was all "Oh hey man, this bed is pretty comfortable, and that's pretty rad. You have a soy smoothie waiting in the fridge at work. It's chocolate. That's going to taste AWESOME." And just general assorted "Here are some things that are good."
Worked like a charm.
