you know, it's all the little things in life that make living the most worth while. the little things like going to the lake on a tuesday afternoon or just napping next to your best friend, knowing theyre there for you no matter what. a few little things ive done this summer that have made it worth while so far:
| | watching a friends band play with other friends
| | going to starbucks before a movie
| | getting my sandles thrown across a movie theatre
| | playing mini golf with friends
| | rolling up my pants and stealing a pink flamingo
| | spending a week at the coast with a friend
| | liking crab for the first time
| | going to starbucks with friends at midnight
| | stealing a road work sign
| | going to cowboys and dancing my ass off
| | eating a watermelon every day of the week
| | blowing stuff up
| | going to the river on the fourth with lameo's
| | fireworks in the country with no cares in the world
| | fighting with my best friend and then making up
| | freezing my ass off at the river with friends
| | going down that same river more than once
| | shooting his blow gun at the wall because i was upset
| | random fiesta texas trip with a good friend
| | telling kids to wear a condom
| | laying under the stars in deep conversation
| | feeding a malnurished friend
| | getting a tattoo and a piercing with a friend
| | going with everyone to get their tattoos and piercing
| | backyard target 5 feet away from you in a lawn chair
| | finding a fun church with a good friend
| | laying there with a true friend doing nothing, but knowing that that nothing means everything because they're going to be gone the next time you blink and you dont know when youre ever going to see them again, or if theyre going to get so caught up in a new life that they may not have time for you anymore...but then again, if they do say they are a true friend, they will make that time for you and be there for you. i hope it is true.
and i dont want the world to see me, cause i dont think that they'd understand
