Job:
I love my job. I never thought that being a customer service representative for an internet-base company would be fulfilling. It is though. It's just satisfying. You're trying to get people where they need to be in relation to accessing the website. They've started me slowly and now that it's sped up a little, I'm glad it's still a little slow. I'm learning much about this job and talking on the phone quite a bit. :-D The clients are really nice and patient. They love it when you try your best to be quick about their applications or when you explain how to use the website (answering questions mainly). It just makes my day. Hehehe.
I got my first paycheck yesterday. It was for like 4 days pay but it's good. An interesting fact in relation to paydays, my Other Half and I get opposite weeks. When I get paid, he gets paid the following weekend. Convenient, huh?
Love:
We're good. Sometimes it feels like we're playing house but we have our moments where you can see us really developing into a family -does that make sense? Everything is just clicking together like it was meant to be...meant to happen. We have our ups and downs but that's normal for all couples. I'm learning what it's like to be a normal couple.
Reality can occasionally kick your ass. [giggles]
Life:
I've been trying to talk to people once a week. I've been getting letters from friends which I really appreciate it. I need to write some more people and send out letters. I've just been busy. I welcome our next store neighbors. They're moving in today. I think it's 'they.' I'm not sure. I want to get a little welcoming basket together but I'm not quite sure what I should put. I'm tempted to do a traditional thing in relation to like Salt, a candle with matches, and bread....nevermind.
Family:
My mom is visiting the second weekend of August which is going to be really nice. I havent' seen my family since late May. :-D I'm happy.
Me:
My Bday is next Friday, 21st. My Other Half's mom's Bday is that following Friday, 28th. I'm gonna make a cake and bring it to work so I can celebrate my Bday. I don't expect for any singing or anything. I'm gonna ask the General Manager on Monday to make sure it's okay if I bring cake. I'll probably leave it either in the kitchen or conference room which ever he says it's better in. I'm not sure what kind of cake I want to do- either pineapple upside down cake or a white cake with some flavor of icing. :) Probably whatever's cheaper...:)
Gonna go. Night.
