Both Harry and Draco were on a walking tour of Rome when they stopped to look at the Trevi fountain.
Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out a lira, turned around and closed his eyes, and threw the coin behind him into the sparkling water, muttering something under his breath.
As he did this, Draco looked on in bemusement.
Draco asked what Harry was doing and Harry opened his eyes and replied, “Making a wish.”
Draco asked, “Well, what did you wish for?”
Harry said, “We’ll see if it comes true,” and he bent down on one knee, pulled out a ring box and said, “Draco, will you marry me?”
Draco looked down at him, mouth gaping, and whispered, “Yes.”
Draco pulled Harry up and kissed him softly and lovingly.
When they parted, Harry said, “See, it came true.”
