A/N: A very late birthday present for enchanted_jae. Her prompt was Quidditch, winner takes all. Also for my last dove drabble which is the last line in this drabble, which I can’t reveal for the sake of surprising you :)
Harry and Draco had bet on the outcome of the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. It was a ‘winner takes all’ kind of bet and stakes were high.
Harry and Draco had been going out, in secret, for almost four months and with the upcoming match had decided to make things more interesting.
They were both streaking through the air in search of the elusive Snitch. They were both doing heart-stopping stunts with feints, sharp turns, and speeding high in the air.
Harry finally spotted the Snitch floating above Slytherin’s middle hoop. He sped towards it and just as he was reaching out to grab it, a pale hand came into view and snatched the Snitch right out of the air.
Harry looked up and saw his boyfriend holding the Snitch with a satisfied smirk. Slytherin had won the match and Draco had won the bet.
Draco winked at Harry and mouthed, “My room, ten minutes” before he zoomed towards his teammates that were all shouting with glee.
Exactly ten minutes later, Draco walked into the room and looked at Harry who was lounging across Draco’s bed. Draco kissed him soundly on the lips and then pulled back and said,
“So, shall we do it?”
Harry nodded and picked up the sack he had brought with him; a sack filled with Honeydukes’ finest chocolates that he had purchased on their last trip to Hogsmeade.
Harry saw Draco licking his lips, most likely subconsciously, and he handed Draco his prize.
The winner of the Quidditch match was to get all the chocolate that had been bought in Hogsmeade by both of them because after all, the best things in life are chocolate.
