Five episodes the boys had to hug it out after shooting.
1. Dead in The Water - it was the first Dean heavy episode and the water and clutching the kid wrung Jensen out. Jared was there with a warm towel and a hug and Jensen had a feeling this would work out after all.
2. Heart - Jared was full of tears even after the camera stopped rolling - thinking of his puppies in that situation was a hard image to get rid of, but Jensen was there, talking him down and reminding him that the pups were waiting in Jared's trailer.
3. All Hell Breaks Loose - the two episodes were when Jared and Jensen realized that this was going to be a tough gig. Jared wanted to reach up and hug the man as he was screaming himself hoarse, and Jensen just wanted to hug Jared to make sure he was really alive. They knocked the two episodes out of the park, and Jensen knew that Jared was more than just a friend.
4. Mystery Spot - it was Jared's turn to realize that Jensen wasn't just his brother on screen, but meant so much more off screen. The multiple deaths were messing with his mind and only the reassurance of Jensen warm in his arms after shooting made him realize that he was fine, he was okay.
5. Swan Song - it was an emotional episode with tension ratcheting high and then Jared finally falling in the pit. It had been brother v. brother all season and only when the director called "CUT" and "That's a wrap!" did sheer relief overwhelm Jared and Jensen. They hugged tight, pushing Sam and Dean away and reconfirming that they were both okay and safe. Until the next season's shooting started of course.
Five ways Jensen has to Jared-proof his food.
1. He stands guard, or tries to at least. Jared just comes bounding out of nowhere and startles him every single time. It's like he has a radar for Jensen's plate and always shoots his ginormously long arms, snatching a piece of whatever Jensen should happen to be eating.
2. Jensen makes the dogs stand guard, but they're useless when it comes to their master, just wagging their ridiculous tongues and happily letting Jared go by to steal Jensen's food.
3. Craft services has been told to feed Jared first so he's too full to eat from Jensen's place, but clearly they misplaced the memo and seem to direct Jared to Jensen's plate somehow anyway.
4. He tries escaping to his trailer to pretend to eat in peace, but Jared barges in of course, and settles down next to him, regularly taking Jensen's food in between bites of his own.
5. Jensen hunches over his food as a last resort, trying to eat as quick as possible and Jared seems to have caught on, if the hangdog expression is anything to go by. Jensen slows down and pushes his plate toward Jared who seems to perk up quickly. Damn those puppy eyes. There could be worse things than sharing his food with Jared Padalecki he guesses.
