Well, I watched Twilight last night, with a riff track. I was glad of the riff track, because I'm not sure I would have been able to stay there watching it without it. Even if the book's twice as good--actually, if the book was twice as good, it might be slightly better than Squelch, so I can't say I wouldn't read it. But, I mean, "you're like my own personal stash of heroin"? Really?

The trouble is, they actually did a really good job in setting the mood, especially with the 'scary overcast town' lighting they used. I'm very susceptible to this sort of thing (hence why I can't watch horror movies without running away, or play the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time without the sound turned off), and so I had to take the movie seriously. But I couldn't take the movie seriously, because... it was just so silly. So the two waged war in my brain and made it hurt.

When I got home, Dad was playing with the cat and a big suitcase full of old toys. Apparently, Mum had been cleaning James' room, and had brought the case out. The cat had seen the case, and run up to it to sniff it. A suitcase that smelled of James! That would mean--!

And so the cat ran around looking for James for a bit, before he realised he wasn't there and decided he wanted to kill something. I've graduated from the bottom of the food chain since the dog's come, so I'm safe from these moods. I occasionally feel sorry for the dog, though.
