A new home.
I was offered a job today. The position is for 9th grade pre-AP English at a science/engineering magnet school in Dallas. One of the best magnet schools, actually. So of course I said yes! I'm excited, but it's going to be challenging. But of all the schools I could have landed, this is definitely the best school. He told me that usually people look down on young teachers, but that he was going to give me a chance since someone once gave him one. Hey, I can deal with that! He doesn't know how much I appreciate him taking that chance.
