Job interview!
I have a job interview on Monday, and I'm really excited. It's for a high school English teacher, which is what I want. Now, it's a low-performing school. However, that doesn't bother me. I've been working in low-performing schools since I became interested in teaching and I'd much rather work there than some white-bred, snotty school.
They offer a 6,000 dollar bonus incentive. So, that would bring my salary up to almost 50,000 dollars. I can't even imagine making that kind of money. I've never been on salary, let alone 50,000 dollars worth. Now, I understand if they have to offer that kind of incentive, that it must be pretty low performing, and I have no doubt I'd earn every penny of it. But I'd have my own classroom and everything.
