I would look prettier with makeup.
So I got my first job for one of my clients today! He is going to be a courtesy clerk at a grocery store. I was so nervous this morning. I was scared he was going to say something to totally fuck up the interview. On the way over, I prepped him. I pretended I was the manager and asked him questions, and had him rehearse answers.
It almost backfired.
The manager asked Matt the same question I had asked him in the car, "Why do you want to work here?"
Matt turns to me and says, "What did you say in the car?"
*head smack*
And I had also told him on the way over about the importance of eye contact. Right after the interview is over (but we're still in the office) Matt leans over and whispers (loudly) "Did I make good eye contact?"
He's so cute.
He was thrilled to pieces about the job. I am too.
But he better not make me regret it! ;-)
