Happy Midsummer!
I don't think a lot of people on my flist celebrates Midsummer (maybe
sara84) but it is a big holiday here in Sweden.
I hope everyone has a nice day and here is some info if you want to know what some of us crazy Swedes will be doing today.
We have been celebrating Midsummer in Sweden for at least 2000 years. It was a celebration of the summer solstice and fertility. Which might explain why we today dance around a "Midsommarstång"

The most popular song to sing when you dance is "Small frogs" (I'm not kidding...)
The translation of the lyrics are:
"Small frogs, small frogs, so funny to look at (repeat)
No ears, no ears and no tail have they (repeat)
Koa-Kvack, kvack, kvack. Koa-Kvack, kvack, kvack, koa-kvack, kvack, kvack, kvaaaa" [you try to sound like a frog]
Now try to imagine adults sing that song while they jump up and down (like a frog) and moves around in a circle. Here is a vid in case you're very interested in "Small frogs"
