Brake Job
So this week has been a long ass week and weekend. Tues my car started making a high pitched noise when i was driving, and i had no idea what it was. I thought it was my brakes but i wasnt sure. So i took it to get it checked out and he told me that it was my brakes. So i decided to do them myself, i didnt think it could be that hard. So thur night i went up and got new brake pads and me erik and sam put them on. None of use knew how to bleed the brakes so that was a big problem. We tried for a really long time and we just couldnt do it. So we left it to finish the next day. So i woke up and went to work and then came home to work on my brakes again. We still couldnt figure out how to bleed the brakes so me and erik left it for one of my dads friends to fix on saturday. So me and erik needed to relax after a long ass work week and working on my car... so we got some beer and had a bbq. It was a good time. Then saturday i sat around all day waiting for my dads friend to come over. When he did he showed me what to do, and i felt like such an idiot b\c it was so simple. So i finally got my brake pads done and the brakes fixed. But then he told me that i needed to get new roters as soon as i could. So thats what i did today. I went and boght new roters and came home and got started. IT was a lot easier that the brake pads b\c i actually knew what i was doing. Now my brakes work and i just hope they dont brake. I was in a really good mood b\c i was supposed to get my body kit and new lowering springs today but the kid im buying them from didnt answer his phone, and hasnt called me back....so i dont know whats going on with his, but im getting really frustrated. The insurance company is getting up my ass about fixing my car, and i just keep telling them that im waiting for my body kit to come still. So im going to try and get a hold of this kid one more time and if it doesnt work out it looks like i have to buy a brand new kit from a store. Thats going to suck b\c i was getting a really good deal on this kit. Well enjoy it....
