(no subject)
my sister and her husband are pregnant! well technicially it's just her, but he had a little to do with it. just when i think my life is so mediocre, a new life is being brought into this world, and not just any life but a life i get to be apart of. aunt emily; the cool aunt, the free spirit, creative, cool aunt. god i'm gonna be so cool to this kid, think about it; moved to seattle at 18 to dance around all day, you can't get any cooler trust me. i will hopefully open the child's mind to so many things their conservative parents won't.
the craziest thing is i can remember kelsey being my age and thinking how old that would be and how grown up i would feel, and now i'm here i'm still the same emily i've been since i was 16. kinda. my sister will be 25 when she has this baby. that's 5 years from now for me and seems like such a short time to establish myself in the dance community, then stop and start a family. but i guess i won't know until i get there if that's the path i'll take. wow, i'm gonna be old soon.....
