i don't think this is right.
well, so long as the board meeting goes well and approves it and what not... i have another job. this one is severely part time (like 2 hours on sunday) but those two hours will pay $20! the church is a relatively new one, non-denominational. he told me that "he told a couple other girls that he would bring them in for an interview, but he wasn't 100% sold on that," and that he was interested in me because of my background in teaching, that he liked me, and didn't see a reason why he couldn't move forward immediately.
so the job is this: sunday mornings, during church, i will take a bunch of snot nosed brats into the basement and beat them with a hammer. just kidding. o.o
for reals though, they wanted somebody who could teach the kids, and not just baby sit the kids. they do not have any curriculum in place, so i can kind of run with it. i LOVE building things from the ground up. right now, it's only on sundays, but they are considering having a service midweek, if the church grows enough. and there's special meetings and such that they would like to have people come to, and have a place for their kids to go (so as to not interrupt). so, during the week, i am going to tutor kids for some pocket money, and then on sunday's i'm going to teach kids a little sumin sumin.
i am also going to drop off another resume at another preschool today, just in case. and besides, 2 hours a week is not enough to feed me.
