wedding planning update
Since my last entry... we have gotten a TON done for the wedding.
1) Booked a DJ
2) Talked to my cake lady!
3) Ordered Tuxedos
4) In process of sending off save the date cards for out of town important guests
5) Booked our honeymoon
6) Found out we should shop for our rings in November. (JBR has BIG sales then)
7) Ordered wedding invitations
8) Ordered a floating unity candle. (yeah..its something different... you can use the engraved base as a vase later)
9) Designed the guest favors
10) Designed the program for the ceremony (still needs to be edited once we know for sure the order of things.. but I find it much easier to edit then to design)
11) Found something different for the bridesmaids to carry... and a bought a new decoration for the stage at the ceremony.
I think that is all... I will stop there so Jess can comment on the fact that I have 11 things. lol.
Ken also applied for the apartment in Belleville. We have to finish the application stuff next monday.
I was looking at one of those typical "Wedding Timelines" and I have almost everything done that I can do right now. Everything else either has to wait because I ordered it and it hasn't come in yet. (Fittings, Addressing invitations) or its up to the vendor when to get things done.
So I am feeling really good about the wedding and how the planning has progressed. I won't be a chicken running around with my head cut off this fall with classes, work and wedding planning. All of the main things are taken care of, I just have to spend time with the little details. (which are many, I assure you)
School is going better lately. My online group did amazing this past week in our project compared to other groups. So we were excited about that. Chem is still extremely boring...but its nice to have a "blow off" class. Work is going well. Starting to get busier as we get closer to fall.
