It's not Charlie Daniels. It's Johnny Daniels which is a fake out to make you think it's Charlie Daniels. Charlie Daniels has talent.

according to this, it's Charlie in the Geico ads. since i don't watch TV at all, i have to wonder how the gecko figures into it...

I love the Cavemen. I discovered one of my all time favorite bands - this music was playing in the background of the ad in the airport where the Caveman is on the people mover and there's this pop music playing in the background and I was enthralled, googled it, and discovered it is a band called Royksopp and have been in love with them since.

I know who Charlie Daniels is, but if you listen to the ad, it USED to say Charlie Daniels and then one day it abruptly said "Johnny Daniels" which makes me think it's a fake Charlie Daniels and he sued for using his name without permission. Wikipedia could be wrong; it is wikipedia, you know.
