Request for Help from the World Travelers on my Flist
I'll get right down to the question, shall I? (Since I'm doing this from work, I probably should...)
So, my parents are going to London and Paris in April, and we're now researching what area they should stay in and what hotels they should look into.
They're going on a budget, but they're going to want to do plenty of sighseeing.
Any ideas, O-Knowledgeable-Flist?
They're in their 50s, but have no problems walking or trying to learn a tube system. They probably will not be renting a car, though.
They speak English, but don't speak French.
So...go for it. Swamp me with suggestions! You know you want to! I'll take anything from anyone who's been there and of course, from anyone who lives there.
