Review Responses +Burn I & II+

May 24, 2006 16:45

So, what I did for these review responses, is that I went back and responded to the people who reviewed after I had posted the last responses which was like two months ago or something. So, if you reviewed this the day that I posted I or II, then I've already responded to you in another journal.

As a general note: I'm glad you guys liked it enough to want more. So...you got more. You see how accommodating I am?

hhgbh: Thank you very much. I hope the fact that I gave in to pressure and temptation and wrote more doesn't disappoint you! I actually had this conversation in my head between X and Rae and it wouldn't leave me alone. And thanks for the props on the fight scene. Yeah, Italian restaurant...X has a weird sense of humor, doesn't he? The strange thing is, that Raven gets it. ^_^

SpiderSquirrel: Um...okay. I hope you liked III. And actually “gauntlet” is not a verb as in challenge, it is an actual article of clothing (or, of a suit of armor actually) which is worn around the wrists and sometimes extends to covering the hand. Usually, it's seen as what the Knights (as in 'in Shining Armor') wear around their hands which extends up to about mid-arm. Gauntlet might be interpreted as a challenging ordeal because the Knights would take off their gauntlets and smack the other guy on the face, then throw it onto the ground between them to show that they were officially challenging the other guy to a duel. So, then the other guy would take up the gauntlet from the ground if he agreed to duel. (Sorry for the lesson: I graduated from University with an English Major and a History Minor, so yeah...got all this useless information in my head...~_~)

noname00: Thank you.

Truth91920: Thank you. I hope you enjoy III.

CrazySpaz: Thanks! Hope you enjoyed it.

Reallyravenroth: Thank you! That's a great compliment. I like this pairing and I have a lot of fun with them, so I'm glad it shows. ^_^

ravanwolf: Whoa! One of the best compliments ever! Thanks for saying so and thanks especially for having an open mind! That is one of the most prized possessions ever. ^___^

26WhiteRaven: LOL. Thanks! And well, technically, the story was finished. Well, okay, so not technically, but if you squinted the right way...okay, so it wasn't finished. But it had a bit of a conclusion attached to it. X got away, showed his interest, and Raven was maybe slightly oblivious to it but Robin wasn't so...yeah. I hope you like the continuation.

Brimseye: (1) WOW! Thanks. I haven't published a book, but sure I'd tell you guys if I ever did. ^_^ One of the best compliments is when someone sees a pairing I write in a whole new light because of my writing, so thank you for saying so. (2) Puck is...well...as real as muses can ever be. He's not a flesh and blood person. But yes, Puck is the characterization for me of the inspiration that slaps me upside the head and makes me write despite whatever else I may be doing. Btw, Puck started to laugh at the question as to whether there is a dot com to purchase muses, but then he grew eerily quiet and started thinking...I think you might've given him an idea for a new start up company. “Buy-A-Muse.com” Of course, Puck is conceited enough to say that just cause you can get a muse doesn't mean he or she is going to be as good as he is...

Scarlett: Thank you very much! It's always nice to meet fans of this pairing. It's such a fun pairing, isn't it? If part III gets enough attention, then maybe my muse'll be inspired to continue it into a higher rating category. ^_^

Ravenslair: The Red-X that lives in my head and tells me his stories just opened his eyes really very wide and looked at the screen in shock, “I'm romantic?” he wondered.
And yeah, Rob-o's going to have to come to some sort of decision pretty quickly, and hopefully before it's too late. (Well, hopefully if this story is to turn out ultimately into a Rob/Rae fic...but if it's to stay as a Red-X/Rae fic, then hopefully not? Iunno...we'll see how it turns out...)

Jaime Snyder: Thanks for the subtle hint asking for more. ^_^ *giggle* I hope you like III.

So, what do you guys think, should I continue it after III-Fire?
