Woohoo go DAWGS!!! A very exciting football game yesterday! We got to Athens about 10am - much earlier than we had planned but it was good since we avoided a lot of traffic and got a good spot to tailgate. It was extremely crowded up there! We had some interesting guys around us. One guy started making bets with Lara and I regarding catching a football...if I didn't catch it I had to flash them! Yeah right! But we played anyway and I caught it a few times...and some of them commented that I threw better than him! So then this group of guys next to us started talking to us...it was very entertaining to listen to them talking to passersby as well! One of them, Tommy, is in law school and before we left for the game he wanted to know what we were doing after the game...we of course were heading back to ATL but he asked for my number...why not! I don't really know if I'd be interested but I figure if he calls I may as well give it a chance. So then we went to the stadium and it was an awesome game!!! Those UT Vols are not as good as they have been in the past. UGA really played them hard and were up 18-0 for most of the game. UT eventually scored a couple touchdowns in the 2nd half but they couldn't keep up and the dawgs won fot the 3rd year in a row and our #1 in the SEC, 6-0 so far! Very exciting for a team that usually chokes against more difficult teams! Then we get home to find the Gators losing to LSU! It ended up like 36-7! UGA has a huge chance of beating them in a few weeks! Very cool for us SEC fans! Don't know if this interests any of you reading my entry but trust me it's exciting!!!
