Oops I'm sorry...
Last night was the BEST Edwin show I've seen yet! When we got there I was amused because this guy was walking up the steps and hit me in the elbow with his guitar case - I realized after he apologized that it was a guy in Edwin's band who also plays his own music sometimes at Edwin's shows. That was pretty cool for me! So he played some songs and then the opener played and she was really good too. Then came Edwin and for about 2 1/2 hours he performed, told funny stories, and somehow put up with the annoying audience. It was a really cool, small bar so I was pretty close to him!!! But people seemed to be using the night as a social event instead of a concert and they were all talking - loudly - and answering their cel phones. One guy told his friend on the phone that he was at a John McCain concert...uh, who??? So everyone trying to actually listen to the songs was getting mad and yelling at them all to shut up. But I was pleasantly pleased - even though it was a late night!!! I also bought a DVD that he just put out with live performances and stuff (I don't yet have a DVD player but this is all the more reason to buy one!) But now I should get back to work!
