Film Studies and other stuff
It's week 4 according to UWS study calendar and I think I'm adjusting myself quite well in class. So far Introduction to Film Studies is my favourite. Today we watched "The Cremator", a black-and-white movie from Chekoslovakia set in the beginning of World War 2. First thing, it was the creepiest movie I've ever seen, period D8. Something about the way close-ups are exploited to the extreme, much often to give away a feeling of detached, disoriented world the protagonist suffered to the audience right from the opening scene. But it was arguably the best movie I encountered. Wonder if JB Hi-Fi has some copies of it, because clearly this movie is rarely known. Anyway, I think I'm gonna use it for my paper assignment.
Also, I think I'm gonna give up Writing Poetry. I hate this part hhhhngggg!!!!! I know I am not that UNcapable, but something keeps holding my confidence back. Guess I'm not really that ready after what have happened to me before. Oh well, baby steps, one at a time.
