It's sickening the monopoly Adobe has over it's market and the prices they get away with charging because of it. It seems my attempt at buying photoshop legitimatly 2nd hand has been a failure. While it worked fine for the year and a half I ran it on XP, now that I've redone my computer it's apparently a non-valid serial number... £109 pounds down the drain and now I may have to pay £600 minimum to correct my first error? Adobe is all that's recognized out there for employers. While I know they put a lot into their products I feel like they hold their products for ransom.
