Reality check: If "Twilight" counts as literature, then people are in fact getting stupider. I enjoyed the movie (twice) because I needed to see romance and keep hope alive that love is possible, but that book is all marketing focused on getting people to think about sex instead of important issues like THE WORLD IS ENDING. I didn't pay for the ticket the second time lol.
