Am I weird for giving my horse the day of her trims off? I just thought it was kind of normal. No, she's not ever sore, her angles are being kept the same, etc. But I've always done it out of habit and K does it too.

I seem to be the only person at my barn (other than my trainer and maybe a few of her other clients) who does this, though. The last time I said I wasn't riding because of it everyone looked at me funny and asked if she was sore from her trim. No, we just don't ride on trimming days.

Anyway, I ask because I'm considering being mildly suicidal and trying to ride Zeus in the poles class tonight since it's Cho's trim day.

I should probably ride him anyway. He's just such a pain in the ass. It's frustrating beyond belief, because I LOVE the horse on the ground. And I used to like riding him before he turned into super asshole every time. And I can't really justify completely retiring him because he's sound...just stiff and wonky in the back. Yeah, wonky. But he's an ass of a 25 year old that has been fighting me every freaking ride for like the past year and I want to punch him in the face. Ughhhh.
