Well, finished my last day at Wild Wing. It was a pretty boring shift overall. Almost no business as compared to the usual Saturday night. Oh well, was just less work for me.
The X-Mas party for work is on Monday. That should be fun. It's probably gonna be the last time I see most of those people, and as much as I didn't like a number of them, I will miss some. They were/are pretty cool people, and it was nice working with a bunch of them.
I'm bringing Nicole with me to the party too, which is awesome. In fact, I'm spending about 3 days straight with her. I'm pretty pleased about that.
No drinking for me at the party. Nicole decided to stop, so in support of her decision I told her I would stop too. It was kind of funny, I mentioned the whole 'not drinking because my girlfriend doesn't' thing to one of the girls at work. At first she thought that Nicole was making me not drink, and was appalled. Then I told her that it wasn't Nicole making me do anything but rather me just being supportive and suddenly it turned from "You're girlfriend is being a bitch" to "Awwww, that's so sweet and considerate of you." I found that distinction funny.
People at Wild Wing are actually kinda looking forward to meeting Nicole... or at least one of them is who I was talking to. Mostly just because of a joke that she sent me via text earlier tonight. Made an impression before even being introduced. Good job.
Anyway, I think that's about the end of my ramblings for this night.
