The Quiet Room - fic rec
It's a bit odd for me to be dipping my toes back into the Torchwood fandom but a friend in RL has recently started to get into it and emailed a link to me today of a story that I 'just have to read'.
As it turns out it's a sam_storyteller one which made me laugh as they were pretty much in my top 5 favourite TW writers. So, I've read the short story through, The Quiet Room, and I rather like it. So much so that I'm poking the lot of you that dabble/d in the Torchwood fandom to go read it.

I think it's more the idea of a quiet room than the actual story that I like but it's good all the same.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It's been surprisingly cool here and I've just cleaned out the pond and got it re-running so I'm sitting here being lulled to sleep by the sound of water.
