It's snowing here!

So for most of you this is no big deal, but in the Pacific Northwest where I'm at snow is only on the mountains! So It's pretty exciting! It should continue to snow for the rest of the night and then it's going to rain all day tomorrow so thankfully it'll be gone! You see people up here CANNOT EVEN DRIVE IN THE RAIN and it RAINS FOR OVER HALF THE YEAR here. So snow is just a giant hassle! It's beautiful and fun, but really dangerous!

My school starts again next week! My first class is on Wednesday! So I'm starting to read through my text books and make notecards for the first 2 chapters of each book. My hardest class doesn't even have terms in the book or review questions! So I'm going ot have to make some comprehensive book notes. Kind of a bummer. One book was suppose to get here yesterday, but it didn't show up at my door! I'm hoping that it's in the mailbox! Matt had to run an errand [in the snow!] so he said he'd check the mailbox on his way back for me!

I gain a ton of weight during this holiday season - a real bummer. I'm not working out how I'm going to lose all of the weight again. I think that I'm going to add cardio again [I totally stopped for like all of December!] by doing the free run in Wii Fit. Maybe doing some hula hoop as well! Then yoga, as always. I really need to get my back and chest open. I'm really tight from all the rich foods!

I've been thinking about my goals for next year a lot. I've got a working list for things I'd like to do but I know that some things won't happen all in one year:
  • Finish the Paralegal program
  • Do 1 internship at a Downtown Portland Law office
  • Learn to network in the legal field [make some business cards?]
  • Join NALA at the student rate. Go to a few meetings/continuing education seminars
  • Lose my extra weight!
  • Build my wardrobe into nicer pieces for professional wardrobe
  • Boost myself esteem in healthy ways since I really have no idea how to do it in a healthy way
  • Read 150 books a year [in 2009 I read 130 books]
And many many more goals. I'm going to try and finalize my list tonight!

cardio, yoga, school, weight, snow, 2010 goals, books
